Sierra Nevada SAR

A small plane with two passengers has gone down in the Sierra Nevada Mountains between Bishop, CA and Bakersfield, CA. Your GPS has the approximate course that the plane took. Take off from Bishop and search the area towards the south. Backpackers have reported seeing flares southwest of Bishop.

I have included several flights in both spring and winter for the Cessna Caravan and the Bell 206B.

This is my first attempt at scenery/adventure design. I hope you all like it. If you have trouble locating the plane, email me for the coordinates.

This scenery is public domain and may be distributed freely and must not be sold. All objects used in the scenery are public domain and cannot be sold for monetary gain.

Thanks to Donald Elliot for the great flare effect. Without it, it would be next to impossible to locate the downed plane.

To install, use Winzip, or another archive tool of your choice, and extract to your addon scenery directory (be sure to have "create path" checked. Copy the effects to your default FS2002 effects folder. Copy the myflts folder to your default FS2002 flights folder (overwrite if asked).
